Meet the team and settle onto your sail boat. This is a good time to take a look around Adakoy and get provisions ready for your Turkish sailing holiday.
We will give a full briefing of the sailing area and assist with any special requests.
Enjoy dinner in the restaurant on the waterfront at Adakoy. Alternatively we can organise a taxi to take you into town where you can try more traditional Turkish cuisine. Why not visit Bar Street and dance the night away in one of the nightclubs.
Serce Limani is where you will find Captain Nemo’s restaurants, famous with all of our clients. There is a choice of mooring on a jetty or you can use his mooring buoys, whichever you choose he will be there to assist you. This is a fantastic place to enjoy the starlit night after going ashore for dinner.
Next morning a wake up swim from your yacht that will set you up for the day.
Note: In this bay only use the anchorages offered by the restaurant for safety.

Situated at the Eastern end of the Gulf of Simi this large attractive bay is a great place to snorkel. There is a choice of moorings, either on the restaurant jetty or you can anchor with a shoreline in the small cove in the North Western corner of the bay. The ruins of an ancient fortress lie on the southern shore of the cove and you will find hundreds of pieces of amphora scattered on the sea bed.
Great place to explore, swim and enjoy the scenery.
A pretty village set in a large bay. There are numerous restaurants with their own private jetties for you to take a lazy line. The restaurants have a great range of fish. A great place for swimming and relaxing.
There is a weekly village market where you will find fresh fruit, vegetables, spices & various handicrafts. Selimiye is a good place to re-stock with provisions with 4 supermarkets to choose from, for the rest of your sailing holiday.
There are some fabulous restaurants in this village which we will be sure to tell you about during your area briefing. Most of the restaurants and cafes have WiFi available.
A wonderful bay with crystal clear waters and lots of mooring options. You can drop an anchor and take a shoreline to the beach for a totally chilled out evening, pick up a mooring buoy and row ashore for dinner or moor on the pretty restaurant jetty. Whichever one you choose you will have a peaceful and relaxing evening.
For those of you with energy left, put on your walking shoes and follow the winding path up the hillside for fabulous views over the bays. Best enjoyed either early morning or late afternoon when the temperature is cooler.
Otherwise known as Loryma, Bozzukale was once a military port and you can still visit the citadel with views over Rhodes on a clear day.
Swimming and snorkelling is recommended in this beautiful bay. There are also several restaurants to choose from where you will have an enjoyable evening away from it all. Most of our client return and vote this as the best stop of their charter.
Note: If you are staying overnight be sure to use one of the restaurant jetties as the bay does not have good holding.
Meet up with fellow sailors at the base and swap sailing holiday stories. Freshen up and enjoy an evening enjoying the facilities at Adakoy.
Just because your sailboat holiday in Turkey has finished doesn’t mean that your sailing holiday has ended. One experience not to be missed is the traditional Turkish Baths in Marmaris leaving you fully refreshed and relaxed for the journey home.
Alternatively you can take time out relaxing at Adakoy using all the facilities on offer: swimming pool, tennis courts, restaurants, gym…
