The base staff will meet you in the marina and will be there to answer any questions. When you are ready they will give briefings on your yacht and about the sailing area. The supermarket is a short walk into town where you will also find gourmet food stores. All of the stores will deliver your shopping to your yacht.
If you are staying overnight Gocek is a pretty village with many bars and restaurants all lining the water front. We particularly like West Cafe in the village for its international cuisine.
Facilities at Gocek:
We love the area known as Skopia Limani with heaps of small bays and anchorages to choose from. One of our favourites is Kapi Creek. Muammer and his staff will assist you with the mooring and then serve you in the evening at your table.
Beautiful for swimming as are all the stopovers in Skopia Limani. There is a very nice walk over the hill to take the views over the whole area including Fethiye & on a good day you can see as far as Kalkan.
Facilities at Kapi Creek:
‘My Marina’ is an excellent stopover in Ekincik with stunning views over the bay. It is quite a hike up the hill so be sure to take your camera with you the first time.
As usual staff will be on hand to assist you mooring on their dock with lazy lines, electric & water are available and at 18:00 someone will be along to collect your garbage. You can expect a mooring fee here.
The restaurant is a little unusual in that they have a talking menu. The main thing here is to understand that whatever main course you order it will come with a full compliment of potatoes or rice and vegetables or salad so no need to order any extras.
Here you can the option of a Dalyan River Cruise the following day either 1/2 half or full day. If you decide to take the trip you will need to arrange the previous evening and make an early start to avoid the heat of the day whilst enjoying the ruins of Caunos.
Facilities at Ekincik:
Otherwise known as Loryma, Bozzukale was once a military port and you can still visit the citadel with views over Rhodes on a clear day.
Swimming and snorkelling is excellent in this beautiful bay. We highly recommend Sailors House where you will receive the warmest of welcomes from Mustafa and his family.
**Most of our clients return for a second night at this magical place and vote this as the best stop of their charter.
Facilities at Sailors House, Bozukkale:
A pretty village set in a large bay. There are numerous restaurants with their own private jetties for you to take a lazy line. The restaurants have a great range of fish. A great place for swimming and relaxing.
There is a weekly village market where you will find fresh fruit, vegetables, spices & various handicrafts. Selimiye is a good place to re-stock with provisions with 4 supermarkets to choose from, for the rest of your sailing holiday.
There are some fabulous restaurants in this village which we will be sure to tell you about during your area briefing. Most of the restaurants and cafes have WiFi available.

Wake up to another fab day on the water and then head to Sogut and the top class Octopus Restaurant. They have a large dock with staff waiting to hand you a lazy line. It is shallow on the inside of the dock so only suitable for catamarans or swimming!! They have water and electric on the dock, sun chairs on the beach and excellent toilet & showers.
As the sun goes down the staff will set tables out on the water front ready for a relaxing dinner on the waters edge. They will invite you to choose your mezes from a large selection. At the same time you can have a look at the wonderful fish, seafoods & meats that they offer.
Great place to explore, swim and enjoy the scenery.

Azmak restaurant is owned by cousins Engin & Yasar who take a great pride in delivering wonderful food and great service. Yasar will be on the dock to take your lines and hand you a lazy line. Once safely moored he will ensure you are connected to the electric shore power and you can top up with water if needed.
It is a great place to swim from your yacht, the dock or the beach. There are plenty of sun chairs and umbrellas on the beach & behind the restaurant are good toilet & shower facilities.
Engin & Yasar are keen to ensure you have everything you need so they have an excellent market for you to get any provisions you might need plus are happy to sell fresh fruit & vegetables from their kitchen. The large restaurant has plenty of shade for dining and free WiFi. The chef is very well known in this area for his excellent cuisine, we particularly recommend fish and beware of the delicious homemade bread.
Note: If you are staying overnight be sure to use one of the restaurant jetties as the bay does not have good holding.

Have an early start and with luck you will have favourable winds behind you for a great sail back to Gocek. The fuel dock is right next to the mooring. The base staff will be on the dock ready to give you a helping hand.
Freshen up and head in the village for sundowners and a relaxing meal.
If you have a late departure we will arrange for you to spend the day at one of the small hotels in Gocek where you can relax by the swimming pool or use the spa facilities. Gocek is a great place to buy souvenirs and you will be surprised by number of high quality boutique shops.
