Windwhistle is a super boat and we certainly enjoy owning her. We’re sure you will find everything you need on board but, if you have any questions or are not sure how things work, Mark and Stef are there to help with anything before you set sail or on your cruise. They run a great operation and we are delighted to have them looking after our boat and introducing clients to her.
The Turkish Coastline provides a fantastic cruising ground and there are plenty of interesting places to visit. Again, if you are not sure of the best itinerary to follow, Mark or Stef can help you with ideas depending on the time of year, weather forecasts, etc.
Windwhistle has been refitted to a high Sun Odyssey 45.2 – Windwhistle standard and has lots of little extras on board which help to make her special we use her as our own family cruising boat and have had many happy times on board in the Adriatic, down through Greece and along the Turkish coast.
Do come on board and enjoy yourselves Sail in Turkey are an excellent company and Windwhistle is a lovely boat!

Cybele, Cyclades 43
Welcome aboard our beautiful yacht Cybele – a family owned boat which is maintained and cared for to a high standard by Mark and Stef.
With four cabins and two heads Cybele offers extremely versatile and spacious accommodation meaning it is great for couples, friends, a family or even two families! She can easily be handled by two people and due to the well laid out accommodation and ample storage space there’s enough room for eight people without feeling squashed .We have had many a holiday ‘two families’ up!
The boat is well equipped with a large galley, a good sized cock pit and plenty of room on deck for sunbathing, dolphin or turtle watching and also of course for sipping those sundowners at the end of a great day sailing.
So, go where you want at your own pace and enjoy your holiday on board Cybele in superb cruising waters that are rich in anchorages, bays and restaurants. It doesn’t get much better than this for a fantastic sailing holiday.
But don’t just take our word for it………
John & Gill Harrison,
Grace of Lefkas, Bavaria 38
We bought Grace of Lefkas when we got married, the second biggest decision we ever made. We holiday on her ourselves several times a year and she has delivered many great sailing experiences. Grace is easy for two to handle, and we have had six adults comfortably aboard for a fortnight.
As her name suggests she spent the first part of her life in Greece. When we made the decision to move her to Turkey, we also decided to move her ourselves. We took a year off work and brought her on a slow blissful cruise around the Aegean to her new home.
Unfortunately, we had to return to work. Grace is very special to us and finding someone we trust to look after her was a difficult task. Mark and Stef were recommended to us and we only have good things to say about the care they take with Grace. Their professionalism and attention to detail has impressed us the most. They take the time to ensure a quality finish on every job they do. When we turn up, tired from work, she is always beautifully turned out and ready to go.
We are new to cruising Turkey and are enjoying discovering new anchorages and places. Mark and Stef have many years of local knowledge and their recommendations are always worth following. We love the friendliness and the genuine good service we have received in Turkey. The mixture of places is a real bonus, from nights at anchor under the stars, to opportunities to put on my holiday frock and heels. However what we enjoy most is getting the engine switched off and stretching our sailing legs, something which the sailing conditions in the area allow us to do with ease. We are looking forward to exploring all that the Bozburun peninsular and the Gulf of Fethiye have to offer.

Jonty, Sun Odyssey 43
We have owned our pride & joy (43′ Jeanneau JONTY) from new and in an ideal world would only keep it for our own use. But with ever increasing costs decided to let Sailinturkey put her in their small exclusive fleet two years ago. We have known Stef & Mark for many years so had every confidence in their expertise with chartering. We were a bit taken aback where they recommended we completely refit her with new sails, bedding, cutlery, pots & pans etc but having seen the result are over the moon with her, it looks and sails better than when new. As both Jane & I are RYA sailing instructors and I am a RYA racing coach we bought our yacht to sail and not as a floating hotel like many other owners.
The new genoa has made her a much better balanced Sun Odyssey 43 – Jonty yacht and she gives you great confidence even in big winds. Having said that we have four children and grandchildren so we needed a yacht that could comfortably look after 6 to 8 people with two heads and showers and four cabins the Jeanneau 43 is large enough to cater for all but very easy to sail. Jane & I sail her on our own with no problem. We put a new 5 hp outboard on her last year which can easily take four adults ashore on the tender if required, we plan to fit a small hoist in 2009 to make lowering and recovering the engine easy for any age group. Mark has made sure everything on JONTY works properly from the Self Tacking Auto Pilot to the heads. Stef makes sure she is kept spotless, and ready to sail. Every time we go out to her we are impressed at the condition Stef & Mark have kept her in, with any little niggles sorted out very quickly.
We have sailed all over the Med and Caribbean and Marmaris Marina is certainly one of the best in the world, toilets, showers and swimming pool all kept spotless, plus numerous quality restaurants the sailing area is superb with many safe bays and marina’s only a few hours away. We have found the Turkish people friendly, honest and very accommodating, they are always on hand to help you moor up and offer advise on best restaurants etc. We and many of our friends have had some great holidays on JONTY all them have been very impressed with JONTY and Sailinturkey who have made them feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. It is very reassuring to know that JONTY is in such good professional caring hands and look forward to a long relationship with Sailinturkey,

Karibu of Cowes, Oceanis 40
We first met Mark and Stef in 2010 and were impressed with their operation. At the time, we wanted to sail a different cruising area but are delighted to have now moved Karibu to the Sail in Turkey fleet. Their standard of maintenance is exemplary; the boats are kept in great condition and the warmth of their welcome, and the support of their team, sets the right tone for a great holiday in what has got to be one of the world’s best sailing areas.
