A busy harbour popular with Gulets, moor stern to the town quay on anchor and have a stroll along this pretty waterfront. With a great choice of restaurants, bars, shops and even a cash machine this is a good stopover to replenish your stock. The local council provide excellent shower facilities for 1Tl per person.
There is a mooring fee (50TL) which the habour master will collect from you.
There are several boatyards where you can see Turkish Gulets still being built. For the men the Turkish Barber offers a traditional ‘cut-throat’ shave.
Bozburun Yacht Club was very popular in 2011 with Sail in Turkey clients, great reviews from everyone who moored on their jetty. We even had one group of sailors that liked it so much they left their skipper on board and booked into one of the fabulous rooms ashore for the night.
The yacht club is only accessible by yacht and provides fantastic views over the bay. Food rated as first class along with service.
