Windwhistle is a super boat and we certainly enjoy owning her. We're sure you will find everything you need on board but, if you have any questions or are not sure how things work, Mark and Stephanie at Sail in Turkey are there to help with anything before you set sail or on your cruise. They run a great operation and we are delighted to have them looking after our boat and introducing clients to her.
The waters of the Turquoise Coast provide a fantastic cruising ground and there are plenty of interesting places to visit. Again, if you are not sure of the best itinerary to follow, Mark or Stephanie can help you with ideas depending on the time of year, weather forecasts, etc.
Windwhistle has been refitted to a high standard and has lots of little extras on board which help to make her special we use her as our own family cruising boat and have had many happy times on board in the Adriatic, down through Greece and along the Turkish coast.

As the owner of yacht "Horizon" living in Sweden and starting with a new charter company in Turkey, it was imperative to me to hand over Horizon to a company that could not only maintain her to a high standard, but also charter her in a responsible and professional manner.
So I was happy to be recommended "Sail in Turkey" as the company to take charge of Horizon. From the outset, before the boat even reached the marina in Marmaris, both Mark and Stef took charge of a difficult and long-distance logistical challenge. Their enthusiasm for the project and professionalism immediately gave me confidence that I had made the right choice. On receipt of Horizon they were able to conduct a thorough survey and suggest some maintenance and overhaul changes that would bring Horizon up to a high standard ready for charter. This they completed whilst keeping me fully briefed at each stage and I am delighted with the outcome. Horizon now shines!
During the summer of 2008 I had the opportunity to visit Sail in Turkey and take Horizon out for several days sailing around the local bays. I was met by Mark and Stef and after an opportunity to get better acquainted over dinner, the next day they continued with a thorough bow to stern brief and suggestions of local places to visit. The next few days proved to be a wonderful trip sailing around the clear waters to the east of Marmaris enjoying every moment aboard Horizon.

We have owned our pride & joy (43' Jeanneau JONTY) from new and in an ideal world would only keep it for our own use. But with ever increasing costs decided to let Sailinturkey put her in their small exclusive fleet two years ago. We have known Stef & Mark for many years so had every confidence in their expertise with chartering. We were a bit taken aback where they recommended we completely refit her with new sails, bedding, cutlery, pots & pans etc but having seen the result are over the moon with her, it looks and sails better than when new. As both Jane & I are RYA sailing instructors and I am a RYA racing coach we bought our yacht to sail and not as a floating hotel like many other owners.

The new genoa has made her a much better balanced yacht and she gives you great confidence even in big winds. Having said that we have four children and grandchildren so we needed a yacht that could comfortably look after 6 to 8 people with two heads and showers and four cabins the Jeanneau 43 is large enough to cater for all but very easy to sail. Jane & I sail her on our own with no problem. We put a new 5 hp outboard on her last year which can easily take four adults ashore on the tender if required, we plan to fit a small hoist in 2009 to make lowering and recovering the engine easy for any age group. Mark has made sure everything on JONTY works properly from the Self Tacking Auto Pilot to the heads. Stef makes sure she is kept spotless, and ready to sail. Every time we go out to her we are impressed at the condition Stef & Mark have kept her in, with any little niggles sorted out very quickly.
We have sailed all over the Med and Caribbean and Marmaris Marina is certainly one of the best in the world, toilets, showers and swimming pool all kept spotless, plus numerous quality restaurants the sailing area is superb with many safe bays and marina's only a few hours away. We have found the Turkish people friendly, honest and very accommodating, they are always on hand to help you moor up and offer advise on best restaurants etc. We and many of our friends have had some great holidays on JONTY all them have been very impressed with JONTY and Sailinturkey who have made them feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. It is very reassuring to know that JONTY is in such good professional caring hands and look forward to a long relationship with Sailinturkey,
