Marmaris town is very historical and is built adjacent the Suleyman Castle. The winding streets around the fortress contrast with the bustle of the bazaar behind it. Turkish gulets line the town waterfront, offering day trips to various beaches and dive sites.
Travel to Marmaris, Turkey
The location of Marmaris - 90 minutes from Dalaman airport and 2 hours from Bodrum airport, means it is easily accessible from most european destinations. In addition there are a wide choice of daily domestic flights from Istanbul, of course there is always the alternvative of flying into Rhodes and taking the one hour daily ferry.
Netsel Marina, Turkey
Our base is in Turkey, The Netsel Marina, a modern marina with great facilities for starting your yacht charter sailing holiday. The recently opened Migros Supermarket in the marina, offers a good selection of well known products, therefore provisioning your yacht couldn't be easier. The yacht charter marina includes shower and toilet blocks located at the end of the quay, with continuous hot water (and hairdryers!). The marina also has a swimming pool with bar that serves drinks and snacks until midnight.
Overlooking the marina are several restaurants and bars that offer a choice of Turkish and international cuisine, from simple salads and sandwiches to mezes and freshly caught fish, alternatively a short walk will take you into town, where you will find more traditional Turkish restaurants and can enjoy haggling with vendors selling souvenirs in the colourful bazaar.

Marmaris is ideally located for a sailing holiday, right in the middle of the sailing area hafway between Bodrum and Kas, this provides you with a myriad of saling choices, so to assist in planning your holiday we have prepared a few sailing itineraries.
These routes are only suggestions and feature just a few of the many stops that you can visit. We have varied the stops to give you more of an insight into Turkey. In betweeen these stops you can arrange some short distances, with bay hopping and lunch stops. As you sail the coast, you will find that many of your overnight stops contrast and complement each other. One evening you could be enjoying the quiet solitude of a remote bay, followed by an evening of hustle and bustle in a small busy harbour, with a rich choice of restaurants and nightlife.
