ABOUT US
 I (Mark) started my sailing and yacht charter career as a flotilla engineer for YCA in Turkey over 20 years ago and immediately fell in love with the stunning coastline of the Turkish islands and the friendliness of the Turkish People. After several happy years afloat I moved ashore and was instrumental in setting up the Sunsail Turkey base operations. With the acquisition of Sunsail by First Choice I ended up in the role of European Manager with the responsibility of overseeing all of the yacht charter operations throughout the Mediterranean (Turkey, Turkish Islands, Greece, Greek Islands, Corsica, The Balearics and Croatia), gaining fantastic experience in delivering sailing holidays.
However, bigger is not always better in fact, tradition is that bigger gets more faceless so Stef and I have now formed, Sail in Turkey. Our mission is to bring our customers and yacht owners fantastic sailing holidays on superb charter yachts combined with the service that only a small dedicated sailing holiday company can provide.

 I (Stef) was introduced to yacht charter by my parents, they thought that I would enjoy the experience of a bareboat sailing holiday, little did they know. On my return I immediately applied for and was successful in becoming a flotilla hostess working on flotilla sailing yachts in Greece and Turkey.
My role grew and I soon settled in Turkey as Turkish Country Manager running the operations for all of the Sunsail yacht charter bareboat and flotilla fleets out of the Turkish Islands charter bases of Marmaris, Gocek, Bodrum and Orhaniye.
We both truly love Turkey for it's people, the food, the culture, the scenery and have permanently made our home here. We have formed Sail in Turkey to utilise our combined experience and knowledge to create a professional but value-for-money yacht charter and yacht charter management operation.
We firmly believe that with the combination of our experience, ideas and local knowledge we can ensure that we will provide everything you will ever need to plan and enjoy a perfect sailing holiday cruising the Turkish Islands.
