The reception and welcome we received when we arrived was warm and friendly – The boat was ready & prepared to a high standard – The advice given about where to cruise to and the map/book of the restaurants was extremely helpful and very accurate – We liked / appreciated the fans in each cabin & appreciated that the bunks had been made up when we boarded.
Day 1 Marmaris to Ciftlik Limani. Ate at Deniz Restaurant – TL 426. Showers OK including a large cricket!
Day 2 Ciftlik – Limani to Serce Limani and lunch at Captain Nemo’s. Always a good welcome there for SailInTurkey crews! Then on to Sogut. Ate at Octopus Restaurant. Excellent showers and superb restaurant. Sea Bass to die for… TL 460
Day 3 Sogut to Bozburun for lunch. Then Bozburun to Dirsek Buku. Beautiful harbour and great restaurant though basic. Forget the showers. TL 455
Day 4 Dirsek Buku to Koca Ada for swimming and lunch. Then onto Selimiye. Moored & dined at Aurora Restaurant. Lived up to its name – great meal & company. TL 465. Owner is a complete card!! Showers hot-cold-hot etc. Fantastic jazz bar close to Aurora.
Day 5 Fresh complementary bread brought to boat in the morning. Sailed via an anchorage for swimming to Bozburun Yacht Club. Amazing place with stunning views and worth an afternoon to laze in their gardens. Great showers. Great restaurant and ambiance. TL 486
Day 6 Had fantastic brunch at the Yacht Club TL 120. Then great sail to Bozukale. Big contrast. Pretty primitive but charming all the same. Few facilities but great evening & good meal. TL 450
Day 7 Sailed to Kumbuluku Yacht Club. Very swish – great showers – great cocktails and food. Don’t bother with the Peking Duck. TL 800
Day 8 Back to Marmaris, refuel & back to berth. Checkout was very easy..
All in all a fabulous week and we hope to return to Turkey.
