July 2014
We’ve had a fabulous 9 days sailing the Western cruising grounds up to Palamut and down to Orhaniye. The boat has been a wonderful home for our family and performed fantastically even sailing upwind in 30 knots. Your recommendations proved spot on and we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly Turkish hospitality. Highlights on the food front include Jardin de Semra in Palamut and Aurora in Selimiye. Furthermore, we enjoyed the ruins at Knidos and the fort at Bozukkale. The sailing was superb – there’s nothing better than a late afternoon sail with a cold beer in hand.
Huge thanks; we loved it all!
